Anywhere Beach Studios has been developed by me, musician and educator, Alena Schneider. 
I have been studying and teaching the Creative Arts for 15 years - from school incursions, festivals, teaching in a classroom, mentoring and private tuition. Working with a vast range of students in Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Korea, China, Thailand, Morocco and Sierra Leone - I have often found myself searching for new ways to consolidate my students' learning. Anywhere Beach is devoted to creating games, interactive resources and online coursework that allows students to rehearse their learning in a collaborative and fun way.
Having completed university degrees in Jazz, Education (Primary School and TEFL Qualified) and currently finishing my studies in Creative Arts Therapies, my mentorship style is as much about creating strong learning mindsets as it is completing the tasks set by the governing system.
I enjoy creating ongoing bonds with students, where they can feel safe to ask and explore their understanding of the topics at hand. My current research in my post-graduate work is investigating the benefits of creative learning journals, and I can offer a vast range of learning strategies based on my time studying in a variety of formats, from academia to self-directed study across West Africa and Indonesia to learn music from the masters in the villages.
